Day by Day Itinery
Day 1 – Arrival
Settle in, safari briefing, dinner. Prep gear and rest after travel.
Day 2 – Tarangire National Park
Morning drive to Tarangire. Afternoon game drive: elephants, baobabs, Tarangire River.
Day 3 – Tarangire
Full day in Tarangire: morning and evening game drives, optional walking safari or cultural visit to Mto wa Mbu.
Day 4 – Lake Manyara National Park
Drive to Lake Manyara. Afternoon game drive: lake shore, flamingos, tree-climbing lions, groundwater forest.
Day 5 –Ngorongoro National Park
Early drive to Ngorongoro. Descend into the Crater for 5–6 hour game drive: rhino, big cats, hippo pool, picnic lunch.
Day 6 – Central Serengeti
Transfer to Serengeti (Ndutu/Central). Afternoon game drive: open plains, big herds.
Day 7 – Full day Serengeti
Full day game drives—follow migration movements or focus on Central Serengeti kopjes and predators.
Day 8 – Full day Serengeti
Morning drive, optional balloon safari at dawn, visit Seronera visitor center, evening drive.
Day 9 – Eileen’s Tree Inn (from Serengeti)
Long morning drive out of Serengeti to Manyara area. Relax, showers, dinner—prep for departure.
Day 10 – Departure (Eileen’s Tree Inn → Airport)
Relaxed breakfast, check out, and drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport (∼3.5–4 hours via Marangu). Time for souvenirs, lunch en route, and farewell. Plan flights for late afternoon/evening.
