Day 1 > Arusha
This is the moment you've been waiting for: your Tanzanian
safari starts here. You have so much to look forward to and
we'll get your trip underway as soon as we give you an
introduction to our team and explain what lies ahead.
Spend some time in Arusha, both the gateway city for most
safaris in northern Tanzania and a fascinating place to
explore. Enjoy good restaurants, streets filled with energy
and so many snapshots of vibrant Tanzanian city life. It’s
everything you look for in an urban pit stop.

Day 2 > Tarangire National Park
If you’ve never been to Tarangire (and even if you have)
you’re in for a real treat. Tarangire is filled with giants –
baobab trees all across the park, as well as elephants, lots of
them. But that’s just the beginning. Of the big cats, you’ll
probably see lions, and cheetahs and leopards are around,
too. And it’s impossible to miss the wildebeest, giraffes,
hippos, buffaloes and zebras. Your backdrop for all of this is
one of the prettiest in northern Tanzania, with a memorable
mix of river woodland, open plains and rolling hills. And
some vantage points to take it all in.

Go on a guided game drive amid the baobab trees of Tarangire National Park this morning. On the drive, your guide will help you look for the lions and elephants for which the park is famous. It's a wonderful opportunity to ask all of the questions you want.

Day 3 > Karatu
In the busy provincial town of Karatu, with its constant
stream of passing tourist traffic, the many places to stay
mean you can rest from life on the road here. It’s big enough
to have banks, shops (for both supplies and souvenirs) and a
few roadside restaurants where locals eat.

Come with us this morning for a guided game drive. We love showing off the landscapes and wildlife of Tarangire National Park, and part of the excitement is about never quite knowing which animals are going to appear.

When people dream of the Serengeti, it's probably the
Central Serengeti they're dreaming of. That's because you're
in the perfect place to see all that the Serengeti has to offer,
and this is the area of the park where wildlife is present in the
biggest numbers. It's also filled with acacia trees and those
Serengeti horizons that seem to go on forever.

There's a good chance that your guide will show you big cats and elephants on your guided game drive through the Central Serengeti this morning. Sit back and enjoy the ride.

Day 6 > Northern Serengeti National Park
If you're here during the migration, you'll see the incredible
wildlife populations of the Northern Serengeti. If you're here
at other times, wildlife is still easy to see and there are very
few people around. And whatever time of year you are here,
you'll enjoy beautiful scenery with rocky outcrops and the
Mara River flowing by.

Look for wildlife and get to know the quietly beautiful landscapes of the Northern Serengeti this morning when you join us for a guided game drive.
