The route of your Adventure

Day by day Itinerary

Day 1 > Arusha

This is the moment you've been waiting for: your Tanzanian safari starts here. You have so much to look forward to and we'll get your trip underway as soon as we give you an introduction to our team and explain what lies ahead. Spend some time in Arusha, both the gateway city for most safaris in northern Tanzania and a fascinating place to explore. Enjoy good restaurants, streets filled with energy and so many snapshots of vibrant Tanzanian city life. It’s everything you look for in an urban pit stop.

Day 2 > Tarangire National Park

If you’ve never been to Tarangire (and even if you have) you’re in for a real treat. Tarangire is filled with giants – baobab trees all across the park, as well as elephants, lots of them. But that’s just the beginning. Of the big cats, you’ll probably see lions, and cheetahs and leopards are around, too. And it’s impossible to miss the wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes and zebras. Your backdrop for all of this is one of the prettiest in northern Tanzania, with a memorable mix of river woodland, open plains and rolling hills. And some vantage points to take it all in.
Accomodation: Lemala Mpingo Ridge

Activity Day 2
Get to know Tarangire National Park on a guided game drive this morning. Your guide will help you track down the park's wildlife and teach you a little about what you see.

Day 3 > Tarangire National Park

Having the chance to spend more time here in Tarangire means you can see even more wildlife.
Accomodation: Gibb's Farm
Activity Day 3
The guided game drive is the best thing about going on safari and that's what you'll be doing this morning in Tarangire National Park. From the comfort of your vehicle, there's always a chance that you might see some of the animals that you came so far to see.

Day 4 > Ngorongoro Crater

Your first sight of Ngorongoro Crater is likely not one you’ll easily forget. As seen from the crater rim, this natural bowl, both vast and intimate, is one of Africa’s most beautiful natural features, stretching 19 green kilometers (12 miles) from one side to the other. Down in the crater itself, you’ll explore an astonishingly rich, self-contained ecosystem that is protected by high crater walls. Here, lions and hyenas hunt wildebeest and Grant’s gazelle within sight of elephants and black rhinos. Your day spent here will reveal a surprising variety of habitats, from the Lereal Forest and salty Lake Magadi to the plains that rise and fall gently all across the valley floor.

Day 5 > Serengeti National Park

You won’t find many better national parks in Africa than the Serengeti, which has few rivals when it comes to both the numbers and variety of animals. Track down the annual migration of wildebeest and zebra. Enjoy the vast horizons that are perfect for spotting predators (especially lions, leopards, cheetahs and spotted hyenas) and their prey (buffaloes, impalas and kongoni), as well as elephants and giraffes. If you’re really lucky you’ll see a hunt, one of the most exhilarating sights anywhere in the wild. And at every turn, revel in its beauty, with flat-topped acacia trees silhouetted against the setting sun, and so many other classic African safari images.
