Day 1 > Arusha
This is where all of your planning becomes a reality: your
safari starts now. Tanzania is such a wonderful country when
it comes to wildlife and beautiful landscapes. After we greet
you and answer any questions you might have, we'll take
great pleasure in taking you out and showing you what we
mean.
Spend some time in Arusha, both the gateway city for most
safaris in northern Tanzania and a fascinating place to
explore. Enjoy good restaurants, streets filled with energy
and so many snapshots of vibrant Tanzanian city life. It’s
everything you look for in an urban pit stop.

Day 3 > Tarangire National Park
Explore one of Tanzania’s most rewarding national parks, a
land of big baobab trees, big elephants and big cats. No
wonder this ends up being the favorite park in Tanzania for
many visitors. Sightings of wildebeest, giraffes, hippos,
buffaloes, baboons, vervet monkeys and zebras are also
almost guaranteed. Lions are plentiful here – Tarangire is
home to one of Tanzania’s healthiest lion populations. While
you’ll have to work a little harder to see a cheetah or leopard,
it will only enhance your excitement when you do. You can
also look forward to classic safari scenery – savannah plains,
river woodlands and rocky hills.

We'll take you on a guided game drive through Tarangire National Park this morning to look for the park's amazing wildlife. Your guide will help you find the animals and explain to you what you're seeing.

Day 4 > Karatu
Enjoy quiet, little Karatu. Its busy main street is a window
on urban life in a small provincial town, but it’s much
quieter just a few blocks away from the main road. Shop, go
to the bank or simply walk the streets – all are possible
here.
Lake Manyara National Park
Your time in Lake Manyara will include elephants in the forest, lions up in the trees and first-rate scenery of the Rift Valley escarpment. There’s excellent birdwatching, too.

This morning you'll go on a guided game drive to look for elephants, tree-climbing lions and other wildlife in the forests and along the lakeshore of Lake Manyara National Park.

Exploring Ngorongoro Crater in the company of an expert guide could make your guided game drive here one of the highlights of your whole safari. Look for lions, black rhinos and spotted hyenas as you drive around the crater floor early this morning.

When you explore the Central Serengeti, you're enjoying one
of the best wildlife destinations in northern Tanzania. Here
you'll find the big populations of wildlife for which the
Serengeti is famous. You'll also have a good chance of seeing
big cats. This area has plenty of northern Tanzania's iconic
acacia trees, as well as seemingly endless Serengeti horizons.

We'll take you on a guided game drive through the Central Serengeti this morning. If you're lucky, your expert guide will show you big cats, elephants and lots of other animals.

Day 7 > Northern Serengeti National Park
Explore the Northern Serengeti and get to know one of the
park's most beautiful corners. Wildlife viewing is excellent
all through the year, but that is especially the case whenever
the migration passes through. This is also the area of the
park that sees the fewest visitors, which means you can enjoy
the river, grasslands, rocky scenery and the animals without
interruption.

This morning you'll get to explore the Northern Serengeti on a guided game drive. It's the perfect opportunity to learn about this special place and see some of its wildlife.
